As I sat and pondered on my life, I revisited missed opportunities, lost friendships and the fears that held me back. I contemplated on what the outcome would have been, had I taken those opportunities, nourished those relationships and moved in faith.
The truth is that it's easy to assume and believe that our paths would have been much different than how it currently is,
Things work out for us the way that they were intended to, although it is not always easy to see.
I find that when we are in hard places or seasons in our lives, reminiscing on what could have been, seem to always be the "what if's" route that we want to take.
Let me ask you a couple questions, What if this was God's plan all along, what if those opportunities weren't ours to take, those friendships weren't meant to last and fear was the pedal to push you into divine destiny?
You may be looking back at the trajectory of your life and may not like the turn that it took or the road that you are on. May I remind you, that no matter the season that you are in that God has a plan for every seemingly wrong turn, wrong decision that we took. It's hard to believe, I know. You may even be rolling your eyes as you read this (smile), but know this, as a believer, Romans 8:28 reminds us that "For we know that all things work together for good, to them that love God and are the called according to His purpose"
What if the opportunities that are opened to you now, the friendships that you have now, the fear that you have now, are all working for your good? How will that change your mindset and push you into your destiny?
I would love to hear your thoughts,
